First off I am new at this and at anemones so please don't flame me. I looked on the forum and on google and didn't find anything on this.
last night I accidentally dropped a heavy rock on my anemone.:headwally: the anemone it was cut in 2 pieces and mostly white on both pieces. Is there any hope for this poor thing? or did I kill it? should I take it out of the tank I need advice.

What kind of anemone? Some can handle being ripped in two, and you may actually end up with 2 anemones

No it's not footed to anything. This morning both pieces were blowing around the tank. so I them out. Both pieces were completely white they looked worse than yesterday. Its a green bubble tip. If I do end up with 2 more I only have 2 clown fish. I doubt that's enough to support 6 anemones

Anemones don't need clowns. You can feed them yourself, or if your lights are bright enough they won't need feeding.

As for the pieces, if each has a part of the foot and a good number of tentacles it has a chance. If they have part of the mouth, there's a decent chance. BTAs are often cut apart and survive.

Pictures would be helpful.

both pieces turned white and died... I pulled them from the tank and left them in a bucket to see what would happen. So disheartening. The good news is I found a new GBTA I didn't even know I had. So I still have 4
