Help Brain might be dead!

I came home on monday to find that my pain in the neck diamond goby had just about covered my brain with the sand. I uncovered him and it hasn't came back to life since. I am afraid it might be dead. is there anything I can do?

What type of brain and what is wrong with him, when you say he hasn't come back to life?

its a green open brain and I can see some of the white plate structure showing though. I'm guessing its a goner huh.

Not necessarily...I've had some in pretty bad shape came back. Move it to a lower light area in the tank and give it some time. As long as it's still fleshy it may come back fine.
