Help BTA Accident!

I got a new BTA and it was attached and doing well. My clowns started getting close and I came home today to find it sucked to the powerhead. I put it in quarantine and all I can do it hope.

Any advice?

I feel like my powerheads are to strong. Should I cut back to one something just not right.

Heres a few pics of before and after.
It doesn't look to tore up and seems to be opening back up.
Please let me know what you think.

Your anemone is bleached. I would do a water change. Also post your water parameters and your equipment.

It has a chance at recovering, but you also got to work on getting him healthy again.

You also need to cover your powerheads with something like this:

If it heals up ok, then I would soak its food in selcon until it starts to color up.

Try some freezedried cyclopeeze as well as finely minsed shrimp, scallop, etc. it will need regimented feeding to help it recover both from the phead and the loss of its zooxanthella! i would feed it 2-3x a week to begin with. Small portions, again, minsed. BTAs are strong (for anemones), so it should recover as long as your water parameters are within range and stable!

How many watts is your lighting. What is your salinity and temp?

Any changes in the anemone?

Food, food, food. I think that bleaching could be caused by lack of food. How often do direct spot feed it? Needs to be at least once a week, with an anem in that state, I would recommend no less than 3 times a week.

Also, it is usually best to wait at least six months before introducing an anem into your tank. This gives you time to be ahead of the learning curve and affords you the opportunity to understand what your tank requires for stability.

I have been feeding every other day. Only been feeding silverside fish. I'm going to store now to get what you have recommended. Which brand of selcon do you recommend?

Was there any damage to the mouth? If so I wouldn't feed it yet.

No damage to the mouth and seems to be doing great. I also got me flow pumps covered!!! It has settled at the back of the tank behind a rock. But looks good few little places got hurt but its looking good.
