help can clowns have ick

I been told by many clowns dont get ick. I have a true perc that I got it week ago and its covered in little white specs. I seen ick on other fish and it looks just like ick any help please.....

Absolutely they do, and by your description, probably it has it. Try to catch and qt for treatment. Do not add a treatment to your reef.
The only thing you can try short of that is feeding garlic, but clowns are not that hard to catch, and I would truly say he would be safer if you could treat him.
