Help confirm Anemone ID

I picked up this as a Bubble Tip Anemone about a month and a half ago. Can anyone confirm that it is a BTA?

Really? It was like that in the tank I got it from and that's why I asked b/c I read other people say that about the same looking BTA's on other threads.

Is there anything that I can do to help it become unbleached?

Well just make Shute that you feed it good food and have proper lighting.

Lighting is good and I have been feeding uncooked shrimp that I cut into pieces about every 2-3 days. Good on food or should I increase and/or change what I'm feeding?

I have a 90G with a 40 breeder sump, 120lbs of live rock, 2-250mh and 2-56 actinics.

plenty of lighting, so your good. as stated just feed a couple times a week and keep parameters stable and it should color up nicely

I feed my clowns frozen mysis every other day and pellets/flakes the othe days (alternating) and give the nem little squirt of them. They are so small though-do they really do anything for it?

my anemones have only been spot fed mysis and they do great.

Nems actually have an easier time digesting smaller items, so mysis is fine. My food of choice is salmon chunks (the size of a pencil eraser) soaked in Selcon.

Here's an updated pic of the BTA. It seems as if it's looking a lot less bleached to me. Thoughts?

The colors seemed I have gotten a lot darker since I started feeding silversides. I'll take a pic later when my halides are on.

it looks very good i have one just like that but 12" i never feed mine the light does the job and the clowns sometime feed mine when i feed the tank.some ppl frown on silversides since they have bones but if its working i wouldnt change it .looking good keep it up

People frown on silversides because they are not regulated as human grade seafood is. They could thaw and refreeze before you get them and it's still ok for them to be sold. People who have lost anemones after feeding silversides believe it's due to tainted food not because of the bones.

If you have 250W MH and your anemone has colored up that nicely then I don't think you need to target feed it at all. It will catch whatever you feed the tank and be just fine. If you're trying to grow it and get it to split then feed it any seafood (raw) that's sold for human consumption. Small pieces. I actually feed mine bay scallops smashed up and they have grown and divided ... I now have 7 from the original one.
