I have cupermine and tetra parasite guard which has Prazi in it. My lfs brought it to me today. I'd rather prazipro but in a pinch Id use the TPG.
I was thinking through the qt process how easy maintaining my display has been. What I thought was work was sort of a breeze. With ttm and qt I'm constantly making tons of water and dragging heavy buckets up and down stairs. My parameters have been so stable in the DT and it's amazing how quickly things can go down hill. Wc at 10 am, feeding at 5 pm and leave for 7.5 hours and looks like I fed my fish poison (which I may have done).
Makes me think before going on vacation and leaving my tank in another's hand I'll do any wc's 48 hours in advance so I can keep an eye on things.
I'll continue to update everyone. I plan on leaving the clowns in for a few more days. My pjs that are in qt that I was gonna move tomorrow will have to wait a couple more days after my clowns. I'd like the clowns to exhibit normal behavior for at least 48 hours before adding the pjs.
And yes I have an ammonia badge on both tanks and already have water made up for wc's. I may do one every two days just to be safe. More if needed.
Well is quarter of 10. Got some sleep to catch up on.
Good call with vacation. I will do any maintenance a couple days ahead of time as well. Just to make sure everything is running smoothly. I am lucky though my neighbors daughter checks in on my tank for me a couple times a day.
So the clowns were 100% back to normal the last two days. Just put them back in the display. Keeping the HT running for a few days just in case something is still off with them. They are swimming around like they never left.
