Help! Filefish stuck in clam!

Hello. I'm having an emergency situation with my filefish and clam. It looks like the filefish got a little too curious or was harassing my clam and the clam closed on his beak. Anyone have any ideas about extricating him without killing my clam or him?! Thanks!

The filefish is probably done for. You want to wait it out and let the clam open on its own. If you try to pry it open you will kill them both.

+1. do not try to pry the clam open. There have been tangs killed in the same way.
