Help. Found stuff on rock.

Hi all. Saw this stuff on my candy cane frag other day. It resembled a bit of sponge but it with a hard crust to it and a green center. Took the frag out the tank and off the bit of or it was on. Coral back in DT now. Broke open the or and this stuff was all the way through it. Any yelp would be awesomely great. All params are spot on, salinity is bang on and temps 26.2 to 26.7. Cheers in advance.

Up date. Found a half black half red worm with antenna and like a furry appearance. Inside some of the white stuff I've also found some little brown pods.
