First let me sing the praises of Tunze and their customer support! You are the best. I'm sure you don't remember me, but you helped me with the placement and configuration of my 2 waveboxes and 5 6200 pumps with my 7096 controller.

Anywho, to make a LONG story as short as possible...

I have an Osmolator and Geo Kalk reactor that I bought new in '07. They have both sat in my garage waiting to be installed. Since I'm not exactly equipment savy, they have sat. Well in the meantime, a 'buddy' swiped the osmolator (it was still new in the box) and had it at his house topping off his tank. He thought I'd never notice. When I found it missing he fessed up and gave it back.

I had a friend come over the other day that also utilizes the osmolator, to help me install mine. It seems I did not get back ALL of the parts. According to my friend, I'm missing the following:

3000.243 (screw)
5000.240 (clamp)

I'm wondering and hoping you can help me out somehow. Don't quote me, but I THINK he said these parts were to feed the topoff line to the overflow box.

Thanks for any help,
PJ

Yeah, that is what they are for. 5000.240 is available at Fry's and many electronics stores, they are just cable clamps. Unfortunately you usually have to buy a pack of 6. You can also order these on Tunze.com

HAHAHA, I don't know what a Fry's is, but are you saying if I find a 5000.240, the 3000.243 comes with it?

Fry's is an electronics mega store but they are mainly on the West Coast I believe, we do have a couple in Texas and I would imagine there is likely some in the bigger cities on the East Coast. It is like if you merged Radio Shack and Best Buy and an Apple Store and a Sharper Image, if it plugs in or can be soldered, you name it they have it. 3000.243 is just a nylon screw and nut, it is 6mm diameter, they would likely have them as well at Fry's or any serious electronics store and a suitable sized nylon screw and nut could be found at any Home Depot or Lowes, it would be standard thread but would work.
