Help, I can't find it

On Ebay there was a seller who sold replacement pads for the emperor 280/400. If I remember correctly you could get 25 for 12buck. Something like that. I've spent the last week looking and I can't find it anywhere. I really don't want to spend 18dollar for 4. I know that they are cheaper. Maybe somebody knows where they are hinding.
No one carries them anymore except Petsmart, and like I said they want almost 20bucks for a box of 4. THATS CRAZY
Or can I take a box cutter, cut open the top, dump the carbon out. Clean out the pad. and pour new carbon in it? I don't think that should hurt anything.

Pour out the old and fill it up with what ever carbon you desire. It will probably be better than the generic junk in the other filter pads. I do this with my daughters FW tank-just make sure to rinse the pad well. Good luck!
