Help I.d.'ing Clown Species

Good morning,

Due to my low res photos I don't know if any one will be able to help me but i am trying to figure out if I have misbar true or false percs. Long Story short, I had two one died about a year ago, and now I would like to replace. I don't remember what I originally purchased though. I was hoping someone may be able to help me out.

If not, it is possible to mix true and false percs in the same tank (55 g)?

id say a misbar false, but yes you can mix the 2 and yes they can and will breed under the right conditions

It is a true ocellaris. You can purchase percula or ocellaris to pair with it. They don't seem to know they are different species.

to distinguish the two species:
A. percula has 10 spines in the first dorsal fin while A. ocellaris has 11, which is a more reliable distinction than color patterns.
