Hello New Friends,
Can anyone give me an idea on how to trap or net a tomato clown with an nasty attitude with out destroying my rock structures or rockscaping?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

you can do the same thing with a coke bottle. cut the top off just below the cone hits the sides. turn it over and push it in so the part you drink from is now inside and TADA your done, also add a small whole on the back end to get air out when you put it in.

Awesome! I will try the bottle method... and I will let all of you know the results

I will try the Gatorade bottle; I had tried to bring a rival gang member but no luck... This clown is on steroids...

If she sleeps in the open where you can net her, wait until the lights are off about an hour or better, 2 hours. Then, get a big net ready and switch on the lights. She should be so disoriented after being awakened from her beauty sleep that you should be able to net her pretty easily.

This is the way a few years ago I caught the nastiest fish I have ever owned, a big, mean, orange, female Maroon Clown (not a gold-stripped). I had spent weeks trying to catch her without success--well, I did manage to stress out all other tank inhabitants (except the little b****). What I was doing adding her to the tank in the first place is beyond me.

night time is the best for clown if that don`t wort go to the gumshop get a 9mm :D

after the house/tank have been dark for several hours, get a flashlight and shine the light directly at the fish and have the fishnet in the tank already and near him you can swoop him up. I did it and got out my clown in less than 5 minutes (tried the fish trap but a no go).

even easier to catch if the clown sleeps in a Nem! Try putting some food in the net, sometimes the fish (in my case, a foxface) will swim right in & Vuala, less than 30 sec, put wont always work.
