looks like grape caulerpa. Certain fish will love it but don't remember which ones. Im sure someone can chime in with that info. It grows like a weed though so if you can get it out, do it quick! It shouldn't be too hard to pull out by hand.

May be Suction Cup Caulerpa or Parasol Green Seaweed; depending on where your rock came from. I had it, also came out of nowhere I read it was harmless and the tang would eat it. My purple tang would not touch it, became a mat that covered the rock; by then had no other choice but to take out the rock, I took too long to act. You may get rid of it by plucking if detected soon; otherwise very difficult because some of the roots will stay attached and it will regenerate.

I have yellow tang, kole tang, and starry lawnmower blenny. Im not sure if they eat it.

It in a tough spot to get out, errr

yea, I hope you get this situated quick before they start spreading Mike.
You know how they are with tank going asexual and everything.

Yea, this kinda bites. I scraped as much as I could off with tweeezers for like 30 mins today. Tangs were eating the scrapes flying around.
