Help ID blueish item on my live rock

I have noticed something blue in color growing on a piece of live rock and I'm not sure if they are snail eggs, good or bad algae or a sponge. I have recently found several tiny new tiny white snails in the tank and no new rock, coral or livestock in over a month. Any help would be appreciared.

it looks like a sponge to me.

Maybe polyps. look up clove polyp and see if that matches.
