Hi there. I thought this anemone was rather unique looking at the LFS. The tentacles were shorter and 'nubby' as opposed to the finer, slender tentacles usually seen with traditional looking carpet anemones such as haddoni. Also; the oral disc is hardly visible and blends in so to speak. It is approx. 4" in diameter and very sticky. At the LFS; it was attached to a side pane of glass and looked closer to deep blue in colour. Under whiter daylight conditions (out of the LFS aquarium and in the plastic bag) it appears to be more purple and a little bit red/pink. Have a look at some of the pictures provided and let me know what kind of carpet anemone you think it is. Thanks in advance.
