I have had this green star polyp for about 3 months now. A couple weeks ago I noticed this blob of pink bubbles growing and growing. It is about a 1/4 inch in diameter. I am looking for help identifying the mysterious growth. Any suggestions?
Pseudocorynactis corallimorphs are frequently called Orange Ball Anemones despite not being anemones at all. They are actually a type of rare predatory mushroom that has many unique characteristics. First off, they are very sticky and highly aggressive. Pseudocorynactis are known to catch unwary fish and eat them.
Ive have some right now and they can get pretty annoying as some have started to pop up near my zoa's and they seem to be stung by them as well i wouldn't say there near as bad as aiptasia but they can be a nusiance if they start to spread I take mine out with aiptasia-x now
