HELP! ID this thing

My fiance and i were looking at our tank and she happened to look in the overflow and see this very strange creature. I can not find it now so i made this drawing that looks like a five year old did it. The only other description i can give is that i was dark brown in color and was moving around on the sides of the tank.

I suspect it's a chiton. That looks like a pretty good drawing of Cryptoplax larvaeformis.

By they way, they are grazers. Most people agree they are harmless and should be fine in your tank.

sounds like a Cryptoplax sp. chilton. they are usually just algae grazers.

Yeah you guys hit the nail on the head that is what it pretty much looks like. I am just glad that it is not a danger because i have not seen it since, and would hate to have to tear everything down.
