Help identifying crab

I've known about this little guy for about a week or so been watching him every night to see his routine.
Hes really small his whole body including arms is about the size of a dime im sure he will get bigger but as of now very small and fast.
He hasn't strayed off his rock the whole week i periodically checked on him for 6 hours (6pm-12am) and he was always just kinda grazing eating algae on the rock.
I like crabs i know they can be bad for a reef tank but im curious as to what he is and info would be awesome thank you.
I know its a bad pic but i had to zoom in cause hes so small and the rock is near the middle of the DT

i mean i can try but hes probably gunna be to small to see and its gunna have to wait till night time i tried setting out a trap last night but he didnt take it

Still hard to tell, but with sharp pointy claws, you need to remove it.

Mmm, that big claw is bad crab. OTOH, he can have a happy life in the sump or in a small specialty tank.

So I got a big crab like that out of a whole system buy. It was one of the livestock he had. Well after 2-3 days in my tank I noticed a ton of snail shells starting to show up. It was that crab eating them. So out be went

yea ill try to get a better pic of him tonight the only thing i noticed that stood out is he has a brownish big dot on both his claws

if claws are dark or pointed take him out not good

Watch him and see if he's got two nets and is waving them around.

Yea i will definitely look out for little net things he waves around but from what ive seen so far hes using the claws to pick off algae on that rock but ill watch more carefully tonight
