Help Identifying Disease

Crazy Cat Lady
Hello all. I've lost the majority of my tank at this point because of some sickness that got into my DT. My clowns showed the worst of it. They didn't survive it but any help identifying it would be very appreciated. I'd like to know so I can #1 - try and move the remaining fish to a QT for treatment and #2 - make sure that leaving the DT fishless for a few months will fix whatever is in there. Corals and inverts are doing well.

Salinity 1.024
Temp - 78*
Nitrates - 5ppm

They looked covered in a dull dusty powder. Then one day they had specks all over them. It could have been velvet or ich, or maybe both. I found my purple firefish nearly dead on the substrate with small flat things crawling all over her. Flatworms don't kill, do they?

I've named my tank murder tank and all my fish are dying. :sad2:

The worms on your firefish might have been anchor worms. The clown fish may have had body flukes or a fungus. I use coppersafe to treat both of those.
