I've tried looking through a few keys online to figure out what this is, but haven't been successful. Unfortunately I have no idea what location it's from, but it's a green macroalgae with each branch possessing numerous whirls of fine filaments. Branches are connected by an extremely thin rhizome, and these can attach to rock. The circular whirls are no larger than 1/4 inch. Below I've attached a few photos. Thanks for taking the time to look and any ideas. -Steve
