Help IDing little critter

Here is an example of a shells I frequently see floating around the tank. I never see the animal, just the shedded shell. Any ideas what this is?

Thats a copepod, they tend to molt just like a shrimp does. The molts are probably what you see floating

You'll most likely see lots of them. My 125 has only been up since May and it's crawling with these guys and other types of pods.

Leave the lights off for a while then turn them on and you'll probably be suprised by the number you see. They don't like to come out in the light.
