Help IDing Rock

Hi All-A friend of mine is offering me their rock. They're saying it's "Fiji", but I dunno. I almost thought Texas Holey rock, but that doesn't seem right either.
Any thoughts or help here? Thanks

It looks like dead rock. Why does the origin matter?

I don't know which it is, I suspect Texas, but if it's dead, Fiji rock pretty well = Texas and vice versa, ie nice limestone. The biodiversity is defunct.

Kevin-Perhaps you can help me. I spend too much time on the internet and have read some mixed reviews about using Texas Holey Rock in a marine aquarium. One old Reef Central thread mentions Holey Rock being prone to nuisance algae and being useless as a buffer. That's why I guess I was hoping that it was Fiji. Can you offer some thoughts if that's to the contrary? Thanks
