Actually, not so great and there's still no proof that all RTN is always caused by a pathogen. I swear, Sprung and Delbeek must be responsible for more falsehoods in this hobby than all other authors combined.

That's not a nice statement. This thread could be following a very nice line if you would choose to enrich it, not to judge authors. There is no reason for that.
Both of them worked very hard to publish those wonderful books and they are a great deal with many other serious publications of articles. They deserve respect, like any other.
You just can't swear for something that you can't really prove.
I'm disappointed with the statement above and disrespect towards Mr. Spring and Mr. Delbeek.

I think you went too far this time and you should apologize about the statement. That would be a wise and polite thing to do.

You were having self control with your messages until now, but it's not a good thing to be aggressive towards the authors, who aren't even here to defend themselves.
No hard feelings.

I would believe this could be a good reason to close the thread, unfortunately.

You are responsible for the poor quality of this thread. All you have done is attempt to control what should have been an open discussion. You are not a moderator, and you have no authority. You don't even keep SPS.
