HELP! Maxima not doing well!

Can anyone offer any advice? I have a 2.5" Ultra Maxima (aqua-cultured) that has been doing fine for a few weeks now. I feed the tank phytoplankton every other day. This calm was placed about mid level in the tank.

I looked this morning and my cleaner shrimp was picking at him. He is fully open and he has no response and there is white filmy things coming off of him. Is he a goner?

You need to take the clam out and place it in a bowl then add your DT's till the water turns green then take the clam out when its clear again. You need to do this everyday until its at least 3"

It looks like all the meat in the clam is gone and only the mantle is left. no reaction, but the mantle is still colored....... :(

just touch it and if it closes up then its alive...if it doesnt close up but reacts then it ll be a goner soon

Well he is gone. :sad2:
I acclimated him fine and he was in the tank for over a month already. I was dosing the tank with phyto every other day. Makes me think I should have took him out and spot fed him instead.

Sorry for your loss, I have a new one @ 2inches- I am going to make a point of feeding at least every other day!! your loss will helps others!
