Champion lighting had a sale. I was able to order the rk2 with a ph probe and the expansion port for 312 after shipping. That's an awesome deal.

I had a bad experience with my RK2, it was defective right out of the box, the pH probe would not calibrate. Since I had tossed my OEM box and the little plastic bags that the components come in, they charged me a 30% fee to return the unit !
hope you fare better than I did, just remember to hang onto the box and bags.

just to clarify, Digital Aquatics charged me 30% to return the defective RK2, not champion lighting.....
