Help me confirm my lighting needs

I have not decided. In fact, I am running an experiment of my own right now with actually raising my 250 DE's about 6" to see what impact it has. At the same time, I am waiting on a cd I ordered from Steve Tyree on lighting. Someone told me that he mixes 6500K with 20K bulbs. Also looking at maybe trying that.
