I recently bought a 60 gallon cube (24x24x24) and am thinking about putting a gorgeous pair of GSM's in it... then eventually adding an anemone.

.....But... Should I go another route??

Seahorses?
A. Akindynos pair?

Aside from just giving me the tank so you don't have to worry about that, I would put anything but GSM. Personally I'd do pink skunks.

Certainly a large BTA with a pair of GSM's, or tomatoes, or clarkii would make an impressive display tank and be a naturally occuring combination.

I vote A. Akindynos as they are not as common as the GSM.

There is a big need for tank raised specimens and it would be a nice breeder's challange for you.

Like dc, I put anything but Maroon in it. Great species tank for a H. magnifica and what ever clown you want to put in it.

Well, I decided to put two of my Snowcassos in it. There are a few BTA's and one H. Crispa (I think) and a few soft corals.
After a 9 week fallow period, I added the fish lastnight.
I have a Hamilton Belize 250 watt DE fixture with a 14 k Hamilton bulb over it.
Some of the rock has been 'cooking' in a dark vat of saltwater for around 9 weeks.

Here are a few photos I took this morning.

Wow, those are gorgeous!

BUT, if I were to put a pair of clowns in their own tank, I would pick something that doesn't easily mix with other fish, like large clarkiis, maroons, cinnamons, etc...

I agree with SDguy, don't mix with other clowns; they may not get along. But your clowns are great looking. I'd say before adding more things to your tank, make sure everything gets along.
