help me ID this critter

I have recently discovered a critter that is new to me. He is the size of a thumbnail, oval, looks like a rolly polly with a flat pale brown skirt surrounding. It is allways on the glass and has an underside like a snail foot. Ideas?

Or a chiton, if the shell is segmented (like a roly poly)

Both are algae grazers

Yep, if it looks like a roly poly and sticks to the glass, it's a chiton, and will be fine in your reef tank.

ahhhh yes... I looked up chiton and that is exactly what it is. I guess that was one of those critters that came with the live rock. cool and thanks for your help.
