Help me pick a skimmer

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to get a used KZ Revoltuion S skimmer for $350 CAN.. Which seems like a pretty amazing deal. I realize there is a lot of newer technology out there and maybe the KZ skimmers are a bit overpriced. I had been looking at the Bubble Magus 180 and the new ATI greedwheel skimmers. I'm setting my max around $500. The system is a reverse 90, sps dominated reef with lots of fish/medium-heavy bioload.

Any help making my decision would be much appreciated.. thanks,

i just got a super reef octopus 5000 and i must say that i have never seen so many bubbles. the bubble blaster pumps are awesome! in two days it has pulled out what it took my old skimmer a month to pull out. IMO these skimmers are the best bang for your buck. mine cost around 540 after tax, but it is worth every penny of that.

Super Reef Octopus 2000 XP or Hurricone. Both are awesome skimmers for that price point. Isn't the Vertex Alpha 170 in that price range too? They use the Red Dragon pump which is suppose to be the quietest motor out there.

I was thinking about getting a new super reef octopus as well, but got a new impeller for my current one for $10.00. So $10.00 or $300.00, I'll stick with my old skimmer and buy corals. My vote is the super reef octopus or the KZ and buy corals or fish with the $$ saved.
