Hi,
I'm trying to decide what fish to put in my 20g (30X12X12). It has a 20g sump with a skimmer. It will be a mostly sps tank. Don't really want clownfishes(already have some in my 180g) or tiny gobies that just sit on the sand.

Any suggestions ?

I would really reconsider the gobies :) I have a Shrimp/Goby pair in my 20L and I absolutely love them! It is so cool to view their interactions! I also have a wartskin angler that is about half an inch long, and while I love his/her coloring, he/she is really not the most interesting fish to watch...all it does is sit there all day LOL...hope this helps :)

That would make a nice waspfish setup. They tolerate each other very well, as do leaf scorps. You could go with a fu manchu lion in the setup as well, or as mentioned, a wartskin angler would work.

OT: My wife (seahorsedreams) is a Newfie and lots of her relatives catch fish/lobsters for a living.

I liked my fu manchu but it was only ok (didnt like having to feed live food). Weird as this may sound I actually like damsels and a six line to be honest. I had my nano set up for about a year before I took it down and I liked these fishes a lot. Lots of color and movement. Not to mention the tank was small enough that I could actually catch them if there was a need.
