My Meredithi Angel (False Personifier) stopped eating all of a sudden, a couple of days ago!

Should I try the Rods Fish Food or Live Blackworms? I'm willing to try both, but it seems difficult for find at any LFS here in San Diego, CA.

Any other suggestions regarding finicky eating Angels is appreciated.

How are the other fish doing? Is this in your QT or DT?

I would also do a larger-ish water change and check parameters.

Assuming parameters are ok and all the other fish are eating I would recommend Rods Food, soaking food in garlic, or maybe trying Brightwell's new product called Angelixir.

Are the other fish eating/acting normal? How long have you had this fish? Is the fish twitching or rubbing?

I don't find Meredithi to be finicky eater and they are one of the first fish to exhibit signs of ick.

Hope you fish will pull through.

Yes, we need more information such as: how long have you had this fish, what are its tankmates?

Angel is in the DT. Other fish are doing very well. No problems eating at all, no ich! Params are good. My tank is SPS Dominant, and no signs of stress on the corals either!

Other fishes are eating fine. Meredithi has been in my DT for approx. 3 months and was eating sponges (off LR), and mysis. No signs of ich at all...no twitching or rubbing. He swims around, but will hide beside the same LR from time to time.

Fish has been in my DT for approx. 3 months. Tankmates include - Blochii, Yellow Scopas, Chocolate, Regal and Melanarus. No fighting between any of the fishes.

Two quick questions:

1) any new addition(s) since adding the Meredithi?

2) was the Meredithi ever treated for possible internal parasites before going into the DT?

Since it's been a few days the Meredithi stopped eating I would think if the other fishes has something you should see some sign by now.

Can you snap a pic of the Meredithi and post it?

Smaller Regal a week and a half ago.

QT'd for approx. 1 month at the LFS. I know this because I've known the LFS owner and have purchased from him numerous times in the past. Plenty of members from the Local Forum here in San Diego, rely on him for healthy fish as well!

I'll try to post a pic tonite, when I get home from work.

Yes, try both. I have not seen a fish yet that won't eat Rod's. If it has a disease, it will be better if it is eating than not.
