help my anemone got caught in a power head

I woke up this morning to a strange noise coming from my tank, when in truned on the lights i found my anemone stuck in my powerhead. I have a cover over the intake of the Pwr head and the pw head was located on the other side of the tank. i turned it of and set it on a rock and an hour later the anemone had freed himself he is now missing some of his arms and looks a little chewed up. its a Macrodactyla doreensis. has this ever happend to any one else? the anemone is looking better as i write this so i hope he pulls through this.

It's happened to me and many others.
As long as the foot wasn't damaged it will probably be fine.
I've heard and seen some that were pretty chewed up and made it.

Same here, it happended to my 12" long tentacle and he pulled through just fine
