My angelfish is going blind. He was in a 150 when I had an amonia spike. I took him out and put him in a hospital tank, dosing it with maracyn two and lifeguard for 5 days. It only got worse, one eye is poped out and cloudy the other one completely black. he's hardly eating and has trouble finding the food.
Any sugestions? I feel like he's just suffering at this point.
Thanks!

Your fish is most likly suffering from popeye in one eye that is popped out.

I would continue to do what you are doing, using maracyn 2 for a bacterial infection.

Make sure to get water quality under control. Water quality is most important when this condidtion presents itself.

Meaning that this is not a disease but a condition the fish gets when something is not right like water quality or trauma.

Don't give up, this is a vert treatable condition and a fish can lose a eye if it severe enough, but most do fine. (I even have a one eyed clown fish that I bought, and I believe had a severe case of popeye and probably lost it, but she is fine and does well).

If one eye is completely black (maybe necrosis?) then there probably is an infection; bacterial so the antibiotic is good.

If you keep the water quality up and feed well, you should see improvement, it can be slow.
