Help my monti is turning white??

Hi - we have a 220 gallon reef, we recently moved our corals (SPS and LPS) from T5/Metal Halides in a 55 gallon to the 220 under LED's.

Everything acclimated about 6 weeks ago and is coming along very nicely! We have quite a few "expert" items and they are all surviving. The water quality is perfect nad our levels are all normal except our PH.

All of a sudden, our monti cap is turning white. Our PH seemed to dip a little and we are struggling to keep that stable and up. I have a feeling that it's so used to the metal halides and now being under the LED's it's not getting enough light?

I've attached pics of it as well as a picture of the tank for placement. We have had this rock and monti for over a year.

I have no idea and need your advise!

Hard to tell much from the brief description and the photos.

My first guess is always to ask what is your Alk level? Is it stable?
Especially if your PH is swinging for some reason.

Are the white patches growing? Do they have a jelly like dying edge or is it just a sharp white to dark edge?

Some stuff just likes to have issues after a tank move for some reason. Stress maybe?

Did something sting it?

You might have to frag it ahead of the dying part to stop it from spreading.

Not a lighting issue, damage too local. Might be time to frag.

If it the coral continues to receed you should either cut it or put a thick line of superglue to protect the coral. Pesonally I would cut but the superglue STN break has helped me in the past, you probably won't know the exact cause other than the tank wasn't 100% stable. Definately looks like you should be able to save a good portion.
