HELP! Need To Capture a Domino

It's a really long story! Did the new aquarist thing and added fish too soon or added fish that I couldn't keep healthy... In a fit, I decided to dumb it down. I added three damsels, a domino, gold tail and a three stripe. At first all was well with the tiny little watchman, the royal gramma and my mandarin. Now though, the domino is just plain mean. Watchman, gone, gold tail, gone....Does anyone have any tips other than just plain goin after him and cleaning up later?!

It's a 36 Bowfront. Sorta deep. I do have two fifteen gallon barrels. One already has the pump installed. I use them for large water changes. That may be the way I go! Although, the "fish em out" method might work much quicker and easier. I do have very very small freshwater trout hooks. Might try that first.. Thanks for the super quick reply and link!

The domino's minimum is 100 gallons. And they freak at being in a smaller space, especially if they have to share it. Sad. Your lfs should have known that. TO catch same, dig hole in left front corner (assuming you net right-handed) and de-water the tank with a pump real fast, water into a clean bucket, net fish, rewater the tank into a small bowl on sand to prevent sand kickup. About a 10-30 minute operation, nobody getting greatly stressed.

That's my plan for today. Thanks for the help. My LFS is great, but they do over sell. That's why I ended up doing the very "new guy" stuff in the beginning. I am gonna take out my two remai damsels today and then look for a couple replacements.

Gobies and blennies are safest for a 30 gallon. Damsels require a LOT of room. With 100 g you can have multiple single damsels, and 200, maybe some mated pairs, but the little guys for the 30 will give you lots of personality. Don't believe that lfs in future.
