Help on adding second clown fish

Hello,

I have a small ocellaris clown fish in my 25 gallon tank along with a yellow coris. I want to add a second clown.

How would i go about doing this. I hear that you cant have clown fish from the same family or they will fight. Is this true???
Also is there a way of telling genders? I want to have a pair.
