So I ended up getting a 5.5 gallon instead of a 2.5 gallon for a fuge for my minibow 5. Problem is, the height difference between the 2 isn't enough to simply use a bulkhead.
Any ideas on how to get water from the tank into the fuge? The difference from the top of the minibow to the top of the 5.5 is about 2-inches. That's from the top of the black trim on the minibow to the top of the black trim on the 5.5.
btw, the minibow is a thin acrylic and the 5.5 is glass.
I do like all of the extra water volume the 5.5 gives...not to mention all the extra volume to grow a really big ball of chaeto...relative to my predicted bioload anyway.
