Help photographing tank critters

Hey all -

I was wondering what lens type some of you are using for DSLRs when you try to take pictures of your critters and corals up close. Using my standard telephoto, I am having a hard time getting things crisp in focus.

I use the Canon TI-1 if anyone knows the Canon (or similar) line of lenses available...

Thanks

Shawn

You should be able to take some good pics with the kit lens from the T1i. Make sure to do custom white balance, use a tripod. Step down your aperture to get more in focus and use high shutter to freeze any movement. Turning off pumps to eliminate movement and micro bubbles will also make pics look sharper.
