I have a HP307 camera and I cant seem to take a picture that is'nt to big to post on this site. The camera has up to 3.2 mp's and I can turn it down to 1MP but it still ends up taking up to much space to beable to post any of my pictures with my other posts. I know I'm not very good with computers and about all I can do is e.m. and surf the web but should'nt there be away for me to beable to take a picture and post it at this site. If there is anyone out there that can help me I would be oh so grateful,THANX .....Dave E

Hi Dave-
Image editing and posting is pretty easy once you get the hang of it but there is a fair amount to learn in the beginning stages. Don't worry though- if I could figure it out anyone can- not long ago I was completely computer illiterate and now I can edit, post... use smilies even :p
If you're willing to do a little reading this Reefkeeping Magazine article explains how to resize your photos and give them a quick polish. It also explains how to (and where to) upload your photos on image hosting websites that allow much bigger file sizes than your RC gallery.
Learning how to resize your photos is going to help you in the long run- it's much better to shoot at maximum image quality and size and then resize on the computer.
Along with that Reefkeeping Magazine article you can find lots of help with image posting in the sticky thread at the top of the forum.
Holler if you need help with any of the steps-
Greg
