HELP please

My son's tomato clown, who has been fine for the past month since he got him, has something going on. It is hard to see, but his mouth (the clown's, not my son's) looks as though it has something in it or is deformed? He keeps his mouth open, and it look skinda messed up. What is this?

You haven't superglued anything recently? Clowns are notorious for biting not-fully-cured superglue and getting a surprise.
