I got a bulb anemone about a week ago or so. How long before your clown usually goes into the anemone? Going to have to move a rock too so I can get at the anemone. He is behind a rock hiding :D

I would leave the anemone alone. It will move again if you put it somewhere that it doesn't want to be. This will also cause additional stress.

The clown(s) may never host. I've seen them host within seconds and also seen it take weeks or not at all. Like all things in this hobby.... Be patient.

Not move the anemone, move the rock in front of it, theres a rock and the anemone in it, then a rock in front of that rock. I was going to move the rock infront so you could look at the anemone at least. Right now you don't even know its there.

Six of one.....
They like to be wedged in crevaces as a general rule. I guess you could try and see.

Ah ok, I will leave it, over time it will grow out and around anyway I am sure. I will feed once per day to make it grow fast :D

well some new bta like to hide for a while before they pick a more visible spot. They will move to where there is the right amount of flow and light. If you move the rock it will change the dynamics and it would be likely to make the anemone move to another hidden spot.

As far as the clowns hosting, it is a crap shoot and depends on the clowns. I have found that clowns are more willing to host in bigger anemones. I had a 3 inch bta that my a. ocellaris ignored while they happilly jumped into a 6 inch bta. Right now I am seeing if they will adopt a long tenticle plate coral just for fun
