Help pump dead

My pump has broken. Power loss and it did not restart. I opened it to find a broken impeller drive.

First I do not remember what pump I have. I got if from another reefer.

Does anyone have a pump they can loan me until I can get a impeller shipped?

Second does anyone know what pump this is? There are no markings.

If anyone has a pump I can borrow I can run right over. I am in Davie and can travel anywhere in broward quickly.

It sort of looks like a Quiet One brand pump. I have a pump you could borrow but I'm way down south. Also, what kind of GPH are you needing? The pump I have is only 300 I think.

Thanx all. I looked up Quiet one pumps Any idea to know how big it is so I can get the right impeller?

I pulled out my pump that I use for water changes. But it is too small to run for long. But it keeps the water moving. Sadly my Jaebo broke last week.

Any chance a LFS carries these?

Rovster. If I can borrow it tonight when you get home. I will order the part (once I figure out the correct shaft). Should only need it a week. Ill pm you my number.

Looks like the QuietOne 4000HH.
A quick search and found that the 4000HH, 5000 and 6000 have the same shafts (original series, not the Pro Series).

Remove the shaft from the assembly, and measure its total length. You might be able to find the new impeller dimensions online. Just match it up.

Pretty sure I have one in the fish room. I'll have a look tonight and get a measurement.

PM'd you a link

It is a 6000. I sent a pic to quiet one. That is the impeller. Life guard wants $32 for the impeller. I spoke to them and they said that they can last 7 years. Mine has to be 5 years old. So I think it is best to replace it.

I'd suggest replacing it with something other than another Quiet One. IME the failure rate is rather high on them.

I have borrowed a pump thank you rovster. I think I will buy a new pump. $30 for the impeller. But the pump is like 5 years old. How much longer can it last?
