HELP~~~~Sailfin caught in pump

Ouch I know !!! My baby got her face caught on my maxijet and know her Left eye is buldging,, I dont know how long she was stuck.

I have her in a quarentine tank and my lfs recommended an aquatic cure (penicillin 250 mg tablets) to prevent any bacterial infections from developing.

Are their any suggestions or advise that can help save her????

Sad thing is a healthy fish ussually doesn't get cuaght in a PH Especially a strong swimmer like a tang. I think the LFS gave good advise on a anitbiotic for just in case but keep a close eye on the params in QT. Does the fish eat and act normal other than this accident?

My little Hippo got stuck on my Maxijet an hour after he went into qt..he is still alive after 7 weeks [4 of that spent in hypo for ich ] Little guy is doing well
How is his eye today? any improvement? I would keep water pristine, hopefully it will clear up on its own, if not you can use antibiotics
