Hey there. So I'm going to be setting up a calcium reactor here soon and have some questions. I have never set one up before usually do 2 part and on the tank that this reactor is going on kalk. Kalk can't keep up and I want to do calcium reactor with the masterflex setup. Really I just need to make sure that im putting the right stuff in the right spots.

Ive attached a pic with a drawing on it and a blank
Its a dual chamber reeftek reactor.

If you have some tips on setting up a reactor please post up!!

Just wondering will there be any outlet from the chamber back to the pump to remix the undissolved co2?

My previous DIY reactor flaws is i missed out that part which my undissolved co2 buildup in the main chamber ending up im pumping co2 instead of dissolved Ca and alk.. lol.

Probably should have posted this in the Masterflex thread but I don't think you will have any issues with co2 buildup in this reactor. If you notice the chambers are connected at the bottom with the recirc plumbing. It is pulling water from the top and will likely not build up gas There is always a solution however if it does. We'll get to that as necessary.

As it stands your drawing is correct.

Get the carbon doser regulator or a nice two stage regulator for this setup. That is critical.

Just need you to come over to my place and help me set it up!! Reason I didn't originally post there is because I didn't think it was 100% on topic but i will do

It certainly is on topic! We welcome all setups utilizing a continuous duty peristaltic pump regardless if you have the pump yet or not.
