I was reading online that u can tell by the jaw. The males have more of an square jaw and the female is more rounded. To me it looks like a female just to get other peoples opinions.
the jaw looks like my females, but both my male and female looked similar untill the first batch of eggs came, and i will see what i can do about some pics of them
thxs i was thinking the same about the jaw but the dorsal fin on mines look more like a males. i was already thing it was a male and now u say that ur male had the same jaw i really think it a male. here is another pic.
just pick up another b. cardinal today. its about a 1/2 to 3/4 the size of my current one. i tried to pick one that looked like a female and this is the only only that i think is a female. what signs should i be looking for to know if its a male or female?
