Help! Tail spot blenny is mean

I have had my tail spot blenny for about 5 months now and have never had a problem. In the last 3 days it had been very mean, chasing other fish in the tank. At first I thought it was the clownfish picking on him causing blenny to attack them, so I took both clowns back to the fish store and bought a firefish. Now blenny is chasing the firefish to the point where the new fish will not come out!

I already tried rearranging my rock work, along with netting blenny and giving him a "time out" by keeping him in the net for about an hour.

Do I have to get rid of him now to keep other peaceful fish?

I haven't had any issues with this fish until the last few days.

How long has the blenny been in the tank? I've never heard of these guys getting aggresive. It sounds like he might of claimed the tank as his own territory. I would get the firefish out, they are very skittish fish, and dont do well when they are being harassed. I would add a fish that can hold its own, they will probably work things out on their own.

I haven't either. I don't know what to tell you about that. Maybe put him in a breeder cup, add new fish, and then let him out later?
