Help the Turtles!!!!!

Now that I got your attention. My son's preschool classroom was given a turtle yesterday and it needs a home. I am hoping some of you MARS members will step up to the plate and we can get the red ear slider a tank,stand, and if possible a canopy. The tank and stand are the most imporatant though. The preeschool is the one at CSUS and they need it ASAP as the turtle has escaped its current facility a few times and will be stepped on soon if this continues!!!

SAVE THE TURTLE!!!!!

Take the offer on the stand because i have a standard 55 you are more than welcome to have. Its just takeing up space in my over packed backyard anyway, why not let the buggers have a turtle . Also have some nice rocks for it too. AGA with glass center brace. LMK.

I have a 55 but it is for sale. I've got the tank, stand and light. I would suggest that you do a search on Craigslist. Many times they have setups for free.

Very cool. A 55 gal is what you need anyways for a turtle (at least). Anything smaller and the little guy just outgrows it in a month or two.

You want to get one of those sponge filters on a powerhead to move the water and get rid of the big chunks floating around.

You also should see if anyone has any of the dome clip lights available. One of the spectrum bulbs @100W and the little guy should be all set!

I used to help lots of people set up their turtle tanks when I was at Exotic. Looks like you are well on the way to a great setup for him.

Wish I had something more than advice to offer.

Paul I sent you a Pm and cleaned out my Pm box.I have to grab the stand from my other house which I will do today.Can you pick up the stand in West Sac any time after 6 PM.I sent you a Pm with my number earlier.LMK if there is anything else you need I do have some spare power filters AKA Whisper 30-60 filter from walmart.
