HELP! They're dying!

Ich dies at 1.009 sg. But you need to bring it down slowly, over a day or 2 depending on the sg of the water in the bag.
You can't QT inverts at this sg---as you are aware--you have to leave them at 1.025-7 sg w/out fish(host) for 5-6 weeks to stop the life cycle of ich.
Some people have reported that their species of Cryptocaryon irritans did not succumb at a sg of 1.009.

I originally had my Blue Actinic lights on from 8am - 8pm, and the halides set for 10am - 6pm. Is this too long of a daylight cycle?

I usually do nothing but monitor the fish in QT and treat only if a problem shows up. Before fish go in the QT though, I typically give them a freshwater dip that you can read and decide for yourself here: http://www.reefland.com/forum/marin...tment/18887-freshwater-dip-marine-fishes.html

I do nothing for inverts such as snails and hermits, the chances of them carrying a parasite is relatively low and since they can't be infected by fish diseases or parasites you would have no idea anyway. As mentioned, if you decide for whatever reason to have them in the QT tank, it must be at full salinity.

That light cycle seems fine to me.
