Help This Poor Angel

This unfortunate creature came with a 125 I purchased yesterday.
His companion Yellow Tang was much worse off and did not survive the night in QT.
He didn't eat yesterday but today he's eating Blood Worms and Mysis as if they were T-Bones.

We think he is a changing Koran Angel.
Can anyone provide more info?

More importantly, how do we help him?

Hard to tell from the pics. Does he have spots? His fins look a little tattered. Is he scratching or breathing hard? Is he hiding or swimming out in the open?

Other than the fin rot he seems pretty healthy.
No visible spots, scratching or labored breathing.
Eating well, although I don't know much about large angels so I don't know if they will always eat what's offered.
Can't tell if it was the water he was in or poor diet.
In any case,I am hoping some one can point me to a way to help him heal.

Help This Poor Angel

Soak food in some Selcon. Beef up his/her vitamins and immune system :) Fin Rot is usually poor water quality.

Thanks Miz40B.
IIRC you helped me out in another group back when I got my first tank.
Hope yours are doing well.

This fish seems to have a sunken belly and suffers from internal parasites, internal bacteria, or internal fungus.

A view from the top and direct rear will better show and confirm.

It also seems to have very big eyes in relation to the rest of its body, a sign of older age than overall size.

Thanks Wooden_reefer. I will research that a bit.
You last comment is interesting.
If he is 'changing' but older, what is the timeline for achieving full adult coloration?

Fish ID was confirmed by LFS as Changing Koran Angel.
Will be watching in QT as the tank undergoes a mini-cyle from the move.
Hopefully I can learn more about him and how to get him healthier.

Putting a rather large fish in QT can cause mini-cycling if you do not prevent it. This can be prevented by just cycling incrementally to match the bioload.

Also, an initially very robust cycle may also help since a fraction of the bacteria will still be viable after many weeks.
