Flat Back Hex Canopy. Trying to figure out how to light my canopy. The dimensions are 5' Long, 15" height, Outside width is 18". Inside the canopy I have max width of 16 1/2" that cuts back to 8 1/2" at narrowist part. I have 11" clearance from top of 100g acrylic tank to bottom of top of canopy. Pictures would be greatly apprecited. Ohh almost for got I want like a M/H T5 setup, I want to keep SPS in the future when my skills and tank permit.

Retrofit kits are probably what you need to work with an aquarium like yours. MH retrofits don't take up a whole lot of space, but they need some height. 15" height is probably enough if you also install some fans to circulate air to keep the temp at a reasonable level. Lots of places sell retrofit kits, so do some measuring within your canopy and see what size T5's would fit, and where. Retrofits should work well because you simply screw them directly into the wood top of the cannopy wherever you want them to go.
